Personal Style
personal style is just about showing up as yourself—loud or lowkey, clean or chaotic, depending on the day. It’s not about trends, it’s about how you feel. I pull a lot of inspo from people like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Lenny Kravitz, and Luka Sabbat—all creatives who mix art, attitude, and individuality without trying too hard.
I’m into pieces that feel lived-in or have a little edge—stuff you can wear a bunch of ways, but still feels intentional. Sometimes it’s a graphic tee and vintage denim, other times it’s a blazer with boots. Whatever it is, it’s got to reflect where I’m at mentally and creatively. Style, for me, is just another way to speak without saying much so from time to time I’ll put it on Instagram.
Subtle Spring, Southern streets
This look is all about balance—laid-back but intentional, familiar but still sharp. I threw on a vintage “Vote for Pedro” tee because, honestly, it’s playful but still says something. Layered it with a mustard yellow cardigan that adds just enough pop without trying too hard. The cream trousers pull everything together—they sit relaxed but clean, stacking just right over the boots.
The knit beanie tops it off—comfort meets character. Shot this in a quiet Atlanta neighborhood, where the background feels like part of the fit: warm tones, old power lines, and that everyday southern stillness that gives a little soul to the photo.
This is what personal style means to me—mixing pieces that tell a story, reflect where I’m from, and feel like me in that moment. No overthinking, just trusting the vibe.
Everyday Ease with a bit of Edge
This fit was about keeping it clean but not too polished—mixing casual energy with structured layers. The base is simple: a crisp white button-up over dark denim. But the details make it hit—the oversized shirt gives it that laid-back feel, while the deep indigo jeans keep the silhouette grounded. I threw on a pinstripe blazer to bring some contrast and structure, and topped it off with an olive Yankees cap to pull it all back to earth.
The vibe is effortless, but still intentional. I wanted something that could feel at home in a quiet neighborhood or out in the field—both literally and stylistically. It’s classic pieces styled with a little twist, grounded in comfort and movement, but still with a point of view. That balance is where my style lives most.
Fashion insights and student style
This look was all about ease—comfort with a little quiet luxury. The brown velour track suit hits that sweet spot between laid-back and elevated. It gives texture, it gives warmth, but it still moves like loungewear. The tones are rich, earthy, and soft, which let the details—like the butterfly embroidery and stripe accents—really shine without being loud.
I kept the base simple with a white tee and layered a few silver chains to add some edge without breaking the mood. The mocha and white Onitsuka Tigers felt like the perfect finish—low-key retro, but still athletic and clean.
We shot this in-studio to match the mood of the fit—calm, focused, and kind of reflective. It’s a look that feels like me: relaxed but intentional, grounded but with just enough flair. The kind of fit you throw on when you’re not trying too hard but still want the room to know you showed up.
