About Me H.Lamar W

I am a student passionate about travel, music, fashion, and creative projects. This site shares my journey and interests.

About my journey

I’m currently an undergraduate student at Loyola Marymount University, passionate about exploring new cultures, creating art, and building my career. This site shares my experiences and projects.

My background

Born in New Jersey, raised in Atlanta, and now based in L.A. as a Marketing major and Accounting minor at Loyola Marymount. I’m into music, fashion, and the creative spaces where they meet. This blog is where I share what inspires me—through sound, style, and story.

What I do

I curate playlists, write music reviews, and explore the overlap between sound, culture, and style—especially where music and fashion intersect. My work blends storytelling with visual direction and creative strategy, whether I’m building a vibe through sound or shaping an aesthetic through style and visuals. It’s all about connecting emotion to expression, and doing it with intention.

Mantra

Rick Rubin said, “The best art divides the audience,” and that really stuck with me. I’m not creating to be liked by everyone—this blog is about being real, not perfect. Whether it’s music, fashion, or whatever’s on my mind, I’m just trying to share what feels honest. I’m learning to be cool with not overthinking it—just putting it out there and letting it connect how it’s meant to.

Bio

I’m someone who finds meaning in the little things—a song that hits different, a vintage look that tells a story, or a late-night thought that lingers. Born in Jersey, raised in Atlanta, now studying Marketing at Loyola Marymount in L.A., I’ve always been drawn to the space where creativity and connection meet.

To me, community is everything—and sometimes that means building your own. Whether it’s through playlists, visuals, or this blog, I’m creating a space where ideas, moods, and inspiration can live and be shared. It’s about being honest, staying curious, and letting creativity bring people together—even if it starts with just one voice.
